General Return Policy
Return Window: Items can be returned within 30 days of the purchase date.
Condition: All returned items must be unused, unopened, and in their original packaging with all tags attached. We cannot accept returns on any opened or used products.
Defective or Incorrect Items
If you receive a defective or incorrect item, contact us within 72 hours of receiving your order. We will provide instructions for returning the item and will cover any return shipping costs in such cases.
Non-Returnable/Exchangeable Items
Samples: All samples are final sale and cannot be returned or exchanged. We encourage you to carefully consider your selection before purchasing.
Perishable Items: Food products are non-returnable for safety and quality reasons.
Special orders or personalized items:** Custom or personalized gifts are also non-returnable.
Conditional Returns/Exchanges
Personal Perfume Returns
Perfumes may be returned if they are unopened and in their original packaging. For hygiene, safety and counterfeit reasons, opened perfumes cannot be returned. We recommend purchasing samples before committing to a full-size fragrance to ensure it meets your preferences.
Personal Care, Beauty and Housekeeping Product Returns
Bath, body, skincare, make-up, soaps, lotions, and home cleaning supplies can be returned if they are unopened and in their original packaging. Due to hygiene reasons, we cannot accept returns on any cosmetics that have been opened or used.
Candles and Home Fragrances
Candles must be returned unused and in their original packaging. If opened, we cannot accept returns due to safety regulations.
How to Return an Item
1. Contact Us: Please reach out to our customer service team at info@themariemarie.com to initiate the return process.
2. Return Shipping: Customers are responsible for return shipping costs unless the item is defective or the wrong item was sent.
3. Refund Process: We will notify you once we’ve received and inspected your return, and let you know if the refund was approved or rejected.
If approved, you’ll be automatically refunded on your original payment method within 10 business days. Please remember it can take some time for your bank or credit card company to process and post the refund too. If more than 15 business days have passed since we’ve approved your return, please contact us at nicole@monoeil-monoeil.com.
If rejected, you be required pay to return the item to you or forfeit the item after 30 days.
Exchanges
If you would like to exchange an item, return the original item (following the above steps) and place a new order for the desired product.
Right of Withdrawal - EU
If you are located in the European Union, you have the right to withdraw from your purchase within 14 days of receiving the last item in your order, without giving any reason.
The withdrawal period expires 14 days from the day you (or a third party you designate) receive the last item of your order. If the withdrawal period would otherwise expire on a weekend or public holiday, it is extended to the next business day.
How to exercise your right of withdrawal
To exercise your right of withdrawal, you must inform us of your decision by submitting a return request by logging into your customer account and submitting a return request before the withdrawal period expires. If you can not log into your account, email our Customer Service Team instead.
Exceptions
The right of withdrawal does not apply to all perfumes, perfume discovery sets, and perfume samples as these products are final sale.
Goods receive in any condition other than new and resellable will not be accepted and the customer must either pay for return shipping and any other fees incurred, or forfeit the goods.
Products damaged or lost durng return shipping will not be accepted.
Effects of withdrawal
Once the customer submits a return request, our team will evaluate the request according to our policies. Once accepted, the customer will be provided detailed information on how ship the goods.
Refunds will be held until the goods are received and inspected.
The customer is responsible for returning the goods promptly, and for paying all return shipping fees to the carrier plus any import fees to the USA government if applied.
A 10% restocking fee will be deducted from the refund.
